Vote for October’s PAOK TV Play of the Month
One save, one amazing pass and an impressive dribble are in the running for the PAOK TV Play of the Month Award for October. It’s over to you to decide the winner.
The first contender is Antonis Tsiftsis . The Greek goalkeeper kept the score at 0-0 in the 18th minute of the game against AEK, making a superb intervention in the first half. Marin executed a corner kick sweetly, Vida met the ball with a header that looked to be a certain goal, but Tsiftsis impressively kept the ball out.
The second candidate is Giannis Michailides, for his wonderful long ball in the away game against Lille. The Double-headed Eagle’s stopper sent a perfectly weighted, left-footed pass to find Andrija Zivkovic in behind the home defense, and the Serb made it 2-0 in the 23rd minute with a cooly placed effort.
Finally, Kiril Despodov could not be missing from the battle. With an incredible individual piece of play, the Bulgarian winger passed between two Lille players, entered the penalty area and perfectly squared the ball to A. Zivkovic, who scored with a left-footed shot from the edge of the penalty area to make it 4-2 to PAOK in the 74th minute.
