Magomed Ozdoev is the first contender. In the game against OFI the Russian midfielder pressed high, made a tackle to steal possession, and at the same time distributed an assist to Dimitris Pelkas , who scored his team’s second goal of the game.
Ozdoev , in order to win the award, will have to beat Jiri Pavlenka , who is nominated twice. Initially for his incredible intervention in the game against Maccabi Tel Aviv in the 63rd minute with a shot by Andrade from inside the penalty area.
