Alessandro Vogliacco joins PAOK
PAOK FC announces the acquisition of Alessandro Vogliacco from Genoa on loan with an option to buy. The Italian central defender will wear the number 4 shirt.
Alessandro Vogliacco was born on 14 September 1998 in Acquaviva delle Fondi, Italy. He began his football career at Bari’s youth academy before moving to Juventus, where he joined the Bianconeri’s youth system. In January 2018, he was loaned to Padova, with whom he made his professional debut.
He then moved to Pordenone, where he played for two full seasons, recording 59 appearances and contributing one assist in Serie B.
In August 2021, he was acquired by Genoa and immediately loaned to Benevento, with whom he made 30 appearances in Serie B in the 2021–22 season.
After returning to Genoa, the Italian central defender played for two years in Serie A and Serie B, recording a total of 64 appearances, two goals and two assists, while the second half of the 2024-25 season he played on loan at Parma.
At the national team level, Vogliacco has represented Italy from U-15 to U-21 level, making a total of 29 appearances.
