In view of the new season approaching, PAOK’s president spoke about the unity of the PAOK family and highlighted the club’s goals and objectives.

Among other things, he said the following:

“This year is the 100th anniversary and I certainly don’t expect a miracle, but I want us all to try and create this miracle together. And that should be the goal of this season. We must understand from the first day that we are dedicating this season to creating a miracle. And that is to win the league title and the Greek Cup and to advance as far as possible in Europe, so that looking back we can say that we wrote some new pages in our history”.

“Remember, we are a team that has successes, if we are all very united. If we are not united we will not achieve anything”.

“I like battles and I will show you again that I am stronger, when everyone unites against us”.

“In any case, what happens outside of the Toumba is not your concern. I want you to be calm, cool and united around the coach.”

“At the end of the year we should drink champagne together. I will do everything to achieve success and I will not let anyone become an obstacle to us. I will not let anyone, internal or external enemy. I will be as strict as I can with them!”

“I will give 100% of my potential this year, you msut also give it, too. I want you to know that PAOK never kneels. We always die standing up.”

“Do you think that when we won the championship, I didn’t play chess every day? They said that the Russian is trying to achieve things via Skype and that’s not possible, but you saw the result at the end of the year. I am with PAOK 365 days a year, there is not a single day without PAOK in my life. In the championship I was with you every day. I know everything about you, I deal with you every hour of the day”.

“I received blows, but I destroyed the system. I promised that I would make Greece black and white and I did it”.

“I start every morning with my prayer. I am a traditional guy and everything is based on my Orthodox faith”.

“Here where we stand there will be the New Toumba stadium and I will not allow anyone to enter through the window or say, if Savvidis is missing, let someone open the door for me and we will invade”.

“There is a saying by Alexander Nevsky. I am proud and whoever comes to our land with a sword will die by that sword”.

“Let us wake up and remember that we serve something that is bigger than us. We are trying to reach PAOK, but PAOK always flies a little higher than us”.

“I face PAOK with excessive sentimentality. I did not find PAOK in my life, I found myself through PAOK.”
