In the match in Glasgow<\/strong>, Konstantelias<\/strong> played 72 minutes, when he was replaced by Pelkas<\/strong>, managing to score a goal and provide two assists, among other things… In the first match in Athens, Konstantelias<\/strong> was again a starter for 72 minutes. Pelkas<\/strong> came on again in the 72nd minute of the match.<\/p>\n

Andrija Zivkovic’s Serbia<\/strong> remained in League A<\/strong> of the Nations League<\/strong>, as after a 1-1 draw with Austria<\/strong> in Vienna<\/strong>, they won 2-0 in Belgrade<\/strong>. The PAOK<\/strong> striker played 90 minutes in the second match.<\/p>\n

Dominik Kotarski<\/strong> watched from the bench the two games of the Croatian<\/strong> national team against France<\/strong> for the quarter-finals of the Nations League<\/strong>. The first match was a 2-0 win for the Croatians<\/strong>, the second match in France<\/strong> ended in a 2-0 win for the French<\/strong>, with the series going to penalties, where France<\/strong> prevailed 5-4, qualifying for the semi-finals.<\/p>\n

Kiril Despodov’s Bulgaria<\/strong> remained in League C<\/strong> of the Nations League<\/strong>, as they were defeated in both matches against Ireland<\/strong>. They lost the match in Sofia <\/strong>2-1 with Despodov<\/strong> a starter throughout the 90 minutes, and they went down 2-1 again in the game in Ireland<\/strong> with the PAOK<\/strong> forward once again a starter.<\/p>\n

In World Cup<\/strong> qualifiers, Mateusz Wieteska’s<\/strong> Poland<\/strong> beat Malta<\/strong> 2-0 with the PAOK<\/strong> defender playing the entire second half, while they also beat Lithuania<\/strong> 1-0 with Wieteska<\/strong> playing from the 77th minute onwards.<\/p>\n

Sergio Pe\u00f1a’s Peru<\/strong> beat Bolivia<\/strong> 3-1 in the South American<\/strong> qualifiers, with the PAOK<\/strong> midfielder playing as a starter for 73 minutes. However, they lost 1-0 to Venezuela<\/strong> and fell to ninth place. Pe\u00f1a<\/strong> did not play in the second game.<\/p>\n

Omar Colley<\/strong> was a starter for 90 minutes in Gambia’s<\/strong> 3-3 draw with Kenya<\/strong>, as he also started the entire game against Ivory Coast<\/strong> (a 1-0 defeat for Gambia<\/strong>). Gambia<\/strong> is in fifth place with just four points.<\/p>\n

Guinea<\/strong> and Mady Kamara<\/strong> were defeated 1-0 by Uganda<\/strong>, with Kamara<\/strong> playing in the first 45 minutes, and drew 0-0 with Somalia<\/strong>, with the PAOK<\/strong> midfielder entering the second half. Guinea<\/strong> are now five points behind the top duo leading to the World Cup<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Younger national teams<\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Greece’s Under-21<\/strong> side registered two draws in the two friendly matches they played. In Serres<\/strong>, they played against Albania<\/strong> (0-0) and in Blagoevgrad<\/strong>, against Bulgaria<\/strong> (1-1). In the first game, Sinanai<\/strong> played as a starter and in the second 45 minutes, Smyrlis<\/strong>, while in the match against Bulgaria, Smyrlis<\/strong> and Filon<\/strong> were in the starting lineup, with Sinanai<\/strong> playing the entire second half.<\/p>\n

The Greek Under-19s<\/strong> played two friendly games against Serbia<\/strong> in Volos<\/strong>. In the first, they won 2-1 (Papanikopoulos<\/strong> gave Greece<\/strong> the lead), while Beleris, Bataoulas, Dunga, Papanikopoulos <\/strong>and Mythos<\/strong>, all started, with Kosidis, Tsiotas<\/strong>, Eleftheriadis, <\/strong>and Vyrsokino<\/strong> all coming on as substitutes. Victory came in the second friendly with a 4-3 scoreline, with goals from Papanikopoulos <\/strong>and Kosidis, <\/strong>while Tsiotas, Kosidis, Bataoula, Eleftheriadis, <\/strong>and Vyrsokino<\/strong> starting, with Papanikopoulos <\/strong>and Dunga<\/strong> coming on as substitutes.<\/p>\n

The Under-17s<\/strong> did not fare too well, with two losses and one win which put them third in their group and saw them fail to qualify for the EURO<\/strong> finals, as well as the newly established World Cup<\/strong>. However, they maintained their place in the elite section of the age category (Under-19s<\/strong> in the 2026-27<\/strong> season). Greece won 3-1 against Finland<\/strong> with two assists from Berdos.<\/strong> Berdos, Krommydas, <\/strong>and Kalpakis<\/strong> all started and Kyriazidis, Mokris<\/strong>, and Souvlatzis<\/strong> played in the second half. Greece<\/strong> were defeated 5-1 by France<\/strong>, with Berdos<\/strong> (the starting lineup included Berdos, Krommydas<\/strong> and Kalpakis<\/strong>, and Souvlatzis<\/strong> and Kyriazidis<\/strong> came off the bench), again providing the assist for Greece’s<\/strong> only goal. The Greeks<\/strong> also lost to Denmark<\/strong> (3-1) with a goal from Souvlatzis<\/strong> and an assist from Krommydas. Berdos<\/strong> and Krommydas<\/strong> were key players, while Kalpakis, Kyriazidis<\/strong> and Souvlatzis<\/strong> also played a part from the bench.<\/p>\n

Albania’s Under-17s,<\/strong> who will host the EURO<\/strong> finals, won 4-1 against Azerbaijan,<\/strong> with three goals from our very own Vangelis Giokas<\/strong> and they also lost 2-1 to Wales,<\/strong> with Giokas<\/strong> playing the entire game.<\/p>\n

Max Scznauczner’s Poland<\/strong> Under-19<\/strong> team, with two wins and one loss, finished second in their group and failed to qualify for the EURO<\/strong> finals.
